Program Overview — Eastside Academy of Dog Grooming

Program Length & Schedule Options
• Total Program: 400 hours
• Full-Time: Tuesday–Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm (4 days/week)
– Approx. 17 weeks to complete
• Part-Time: 2 consecutive days/week (Tue & Wed or Thu & Fri, 9:00am–3:00pm)
– Approx. 23–34 weeks to complete
• Students must be 18+ years old

Tuition & Payments
Total Cost: $3,200

Full-Time Payment Plan:
• $200 enrollment fee
• $300/week for 10 weeks
• Diploma awarded when balance is paid in full

Part-Time Payment Plan:
• $200 enrollment fee
• $150/week for 20 weeks
• Diploma awarded when balance is paid in full

Hands-on skills for professional grooming success, including:
• Bathing, drying & safe handling
• Prep work & coat care
• Clippering & scissoring techniques
• Breed patterns & anatomy basics
• Time management and independent workflow
• Client communication & salon professionalism

COMPLETE STEPS 1 & 2 TOGETHER

Step 3 — Secure Your Spot
Attend on your tour date, pick your start date, and pay the $200 enrollment fee on or before your start date.

Step 4 — Start Your Independent Coursework
You’ll receive your Google Classroom access code after enrolling.

Step 5 — Train Hands-On

Come dressed prepared with non slip, close toed shoes and proper grooming apparel (preferably a grooming smock and pants, or a pair of comfortable jeans/leggings and work appropriate t-shirt) to class for either your selected full time or part time schedule.
Choose up to 5 days per month to work one-on-one with an educator for practical grooming experience in a working salon.
